Serving Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area with pride, purpose, and community spirit.

Founded as a proud chapter of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) in 1891, Augusta Elks Lodge No. 205 is a vibrant, member-driven organization committed to charity, fellowship, and service. Located at 205 Elkdom Court in Augusta, Georgia, we’ve been a cornerstone of community support and connection for generations.

We are part of a national organization rooted in the values of charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity, values we put into action every day through our programs, partnerships, and outreach.

What We Do

Our Lodge is active year-round, serving the local community through:

  • Fundraisers & Work Programs

  • Local Charitable Giving

  • Youth Scholarships

  • Veteran Support

  • Volunteer Initiatives

Through the support of the Elks National Foundation (ENF), of which we are a founding Lodge, we provide vital grants and scholarships to students and organizations that reflect our values. Over the last decade, we’ve donated an estimated $150,000 to local causes and awarded an average of $3,000 annually in scholarships.

We are especially proud to support the Georgia Elks Association’s State Major Project: Elks Aidmore Children’s Center, which serves foster children and families throughout the state with housing, therapy, and essential services.

Community First

Every year, our members raise and contribute between $10,000 and $20,000 to local charities, schools, and nonprofits. Just as importantly, we dedicate countless volunteer hours to hands-on service, helping to create meaningful change where it’s needed most.

Whether we’re delivering supplies, hosting family events, painting a community center, or preparing meals, our mission is clear:
