Annual Elks Memorial Day Display
Each year, Augusta Elks Lodge No. 205 proudly sets up a Memorial Day display at Platt’s Funeral Home as a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. This powerful display stands as a reminder of the sacrifices made in the name of freedom and the importance of remembering those who gave everything.
This year, our members once again came together in a spirit of reverence and service to bring this tribute to life. Their dedication and teamwork ensured that the display not only honored our fallen heroes but also offered a space for the community to reflect and pay their respects.
In the photo taken during the setup, from left to right, are: Lemuel "Mac" Hunt, Anthony Willis, Lisa Hall-Favor, family members Michael Marrero, Joseph McFadden, and Gabriella Marrero, and members Adam McFadden, Phillip Hart, Anthony Bizzard, Jr., and Cris Hightower.
We are deeply grateful to each of them for their time, care, and commitment in making this tribute possible. Their efforts reflect the true spirit of the Elks: service, remembrance, and unity.
